About My Story
Art has always been more than just a passion—it’s been a way of life. From as early as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to creating, using art as both an outlet and a tool for learning. With a Studio Fine Arts degree from Friends University, I knew that making and selling art was always my path. In 2018, I took the leap to pursue my dream full-time. Being my own boss, shaping my own future, and sharing my work with others was exactly what I wanted.

My Art
Every piece I create is an emotional journey. From frustration to joy, each stroke of ink and acrylic captures a moment, a feeling, a story. I love taking a blank canvas and transforming it into something vibrant, something alive. My art isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about emotion. Whether it’s happiness, sadness, or something in between, I pour everything into my work.

My Community
This business isn’t just mine—it’s a family effort. The support from my loved ones means everything, and you don’t get a Tarah Clark piece without a little bit of their input, too. But beyond family, one of the best parts of my journey has been the people I’ve met along the way—fellow artists who inspire me, collectors who connect with my work, and individuals who appreciate the power of art.
A Signature Style
What makes my art stand out is the way I blend acrylic and India ink to create a watercolor effect, only to bring it back to life with bold ink detailing. This technique has taken years to refine, but it’s something that feels completely my own. There’s no better feeling than when someone recognizes a piece as mine before even seeing my name on it. That’s when I know I’ve created something truly unique.
A Distinctive Technique
My process is a constant evolution. I experiment, I push boundaries, and I allow the materials to guide me. The combination of ink and acrylic allows for fluidity and structure, softness and intensity. This balance is what gives my work its depth, its character, and its recognizable style.
Recognition Through Authenticity
The best compliment I receive is when someone sees my art and feels something real. I don’t create to follow trends—I create to express, to connect, and to be true to myself. My work is my voice, my emotion, and my story, and that’s what makes it truly mine.
